Working is a core part of Momo City’s life sim loop. The game is not a combat RPG — it is a dress-up and lifestyle sim where Moni funds your wardrobe, and jobs are one of the most reliable Moni streams alongside fishing, daily quests, and promo codes. Confirmed work places

Maid Cafe

The Maid Cafe is the most documented job in Alpha. It is both a district you can visit and a shift-based job you can clock into. The Miraheze wiki confirms you can work alongside NPCs M.B (Maid Bot), Koko, Apollo, and Isabella.

As you work, you level up and earn a higher wage plus new uniform options depending on your level. The embedded music video shows the cafe atmosphere — cat-ear maid dresses, light-stick poses, and a male waiter variant with character drinks. Community sources note the cafe has a rhythm game component that activates at level 20, playable with up to 3 other players, though Alpha currently runs solo servers.

Pom Pom Salon

The Pom Pom Salon appears on the Miraheze wiki as a confirmed work location alongside the Maid Cafe. Community sources list it as a beauty and styling establishment. Specific shift mechanics, NPC staff, and wage progression for Pom Pom Salon are still being documented in the live Alpha build — check updates when new information surfaces.

Other locations

The Miraheze Game Content page states: “You can earn Moni via working, as expected. You can find Work at multiple places around Momo City, including: The Maid Cafe, Pom Pom Salon, etc.” The “etc” suggests additional work places exist in the Alpha or are planned for future patches. How a shift works

Based on public footage and community reports:

1. Travel to the work location (Maid Cafe or Pom Pom Salon).
2. Find the application or clock-in point inside the venue.
3. Accept the shift — the game will either provide a uniform or expect you to equip one from your inventory.
4. Complete the shift tasks. For the Maid Cafe this means serving, carrying trays, and staying inside the cafe volume.
5. Collect your Moni pay when you clock out.

Do not stand around in work uniform without clocking in — that is not a paycheck. The Maid Cafe has the most public documentation; Pom Pom Salon details will be added once confirmed in the live build.

Work and the daily loop

Jobs are part of a sustainable Moni plan, not a replacement for free loot. The correct order:

1. Redeem promo codes before anything else.
2. Complete daily quests in Ribbon Mall — they pay Moni.
3. Do one or two job shifts if you want steady income beyond dailies.
4. End with fishing or chest runs if you still have energy.

The Maid Cafe is the lifestyle loop that makes Alpha feel like a life sim instead of just a chest simulator. Use it when you are ready to live in the city, not when you are still wearing the airport default.

Future jobs

The Miraheze wiki notes that Momo City has “plenty of activities” beyond the confirmed jobs, including minigames connected to the Lifeopedia system. Future patches may add more work places. When they ship, this page gets a section update and the Alpha release notes get a note. Until then, the Maid Cafe is the one with footage, music, and a stable district identity.
