Momo City Guides
First-hour routes, map hops, and job loops for the fantasy-Japan life sim.
This hub is the map of every how-to on the wiki. Momo City Alpha drops you into a modern fantasy Japan with an airport, a mall, villages, an island of chests, marked fishing water, and a Maid Cafe that actually pays. Players bounce between the same questions: how do I leave the airport, can I go back, where is the bus, why is Moni dry, where are the chests, how do I fish, how do I unload bags, which job is worth the time, and how do I stop looking like the default avatar. Each of those has a dedicated page below.
Start linear if you just boarded. The getting started guide is the first-hour script. Mid-page you should branch: airport tickets if you have not picked up the ten terminal pickups, airport chests for the eight terminal boxes, airport quiz if you have not claimed the big Moni test, travel if you are stuck in one district, chests if you want clothes without shops, Nota Village chests for the quiet three, and how to get Moni if the mall is mocking you.
What these guides assume
- You are in Momo City [Alpha] on Roblox, not Robo Japan.
- Servers are solo (max players 1). NPC chatter still matters.
- Currency is Moni. Tickets are a separate gacha stack.
- Settings now include promocodes, graphics, volume, and toggleable guide markers for locations, fishing spots, and friends.
- Bugs exist: mobile chests, inventory hitching, buses on Citizen Island. Patches land often — skim Alpha notes weekly.
Recommended order
- Getting started — suitcase, tickets, HUD, first spawn.
- Airport quiz — do not board ignorant; the quiz is a Moni spike.
- Return to the airport if you already boarded empty.
- Redeem codes in Settings.
- How to travel — Nota Village, Plaza, Ribbon Mall, Maid Cafe, Citizen Island.
- Fishing — marked spots and the 1 September sell table.
- Chests — fourteen island chests plus plaza, village, and airport boxes.
- Nota Village chests — the quiet three.
- Customization — bags, gacha tickets, RGB closet after the Beary patch.
- Maid Cafe — first job loop.
- UGC items — catalog versus in-experience clothes.
- Review — whether Alpha is worth installing this week.
- Starter checklist — tick boxes so you do not forget VIP or fishing markers.
How-to intents we cover

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
Which guide should a brand-new player open first?
The getting started page, then the airport quiz before you board.
Is there a map in-game?
Alpha added toggleable location, fishing, and friend markers in Settings. Pair that with our travel article.
Do guides work on mobile?
Yes, but expect chest and UI bugs. Rejoin if a prompt does not appear. See Alpha notes.
Where are job guides besides the cafe?
Maid Cafe is the job with the most public footage. Other jobs will get pages when Alpha actually ships them. Track updates.
