Momo City All 8 Airport Chests
Free clothes in the terminal. Walk the halls. Do not sprint past the prompts.
The Momo City airport hides eight clothing chests in the same terminal that holds the tickets, the suitcase wall, and the quiz. Players treat the lobby as a skippable cutscene and then spend Robux in Secret Castle to look dressed. That is the wrong order. This page is the chest loop only. Watch the embedded eight-chest route in the middle, pause on every box, then keep walking until your count is eight.
Tickets are a different pickup. The dedicated map is airport tickets. The airport quiz is the Moni spike. The suitcase is three unique items. Chests are wardrobe. Do all four jobs before you board. If you already landed empty, return to the airport and treat this list as a second pass.
What the chests give you
Public creator routes show clothing and accessories, not jackpot Moni. Treat airport boxes as the first layer of a free closet. Economy is quiz plus codes plus mall dailies plus the Maid Cafe. If a chest is empty, you already looted it on this account, or the prompt failed — rejoin before you assume it was a prop.
They are one-time account unlocks unless a later update says otherwise. Do not farm the same box on a second join expecting a duplicate drop.
The eight rooms (walk this order)
Creator counts agree on eight. Alpha does not print a giant “8/8” billboard, so count yourself. Pair the rooms with the chest checklist so you do not mark a miss:
- Arrivals glass / queue — the official art shows Arrivals 5–6; sweep the belt and the glass wall.
- Side office or staff hall — a room off the main concourse, not the gate itself.
- Upper landing — stairs exist; chests sit on landings people skip because they sprint.
- Seating cluster — benches and islands near the glass.
- Luggage nook — near bags and carts, easy to treat as flavour.
- Opposite the suitcases — the display is a loot magnet; the box beside it is easy to ignore after you pick a case.
- Gate corridor — last long hall before boarding energy.
- Last chest before boarding — if you can see the plane glow, turn around once.
The video is the census. A thumbnail arrow is not a substitute for standing in the room. If your build moved a box after a patch, trust the prompt you can see, then check Alpha notes.
How to farm them without getting lost
- Stay in the terminal. Do not follow the boarding glow until the chest count is eight and the ticket count is ten.
- Walk, do not run. Official trailers joke about this because proximity prompts fail on sprint, especially on mobile. The same bug that eats ticket prompts eats chests. Players already reported airport boxes that refuse to open on phones.
- If a prompt refuses, stop, turn, back up two steps, and tap again. Rejoin once if Alpha ate the instance.
- Do chests and tickets on the same lap so you are not circling twice.
- Sit the quiz last so you are not thinking about 10,000 Moni while a box sits under a bench.
Servers are solo (max players 1). Nobody is racing you to these boxes. Slow is free.
Why people miss them
- Sprinting to the gate because the lobby feels like a tutorial they have seen in other Roblox games.
- Confusing chest prompts with suitcase rewards or ticket sparkles.
- Mobile UI covering the interact button.
- Boarding, then assuming Ribbon Mall sells the same eight pieces. It does not. You have to go back.
- Opening two boxes, feeling dressed, and leaving six on the floor.
After you have eight
Unload and sort in customization. Then board. Airport clothes will not replace Citizen Island or the three Plaza boxes, and they will not replace the three Nota Village chests. They are the tax you pay for not skipping the nicest room in the Alpha.
Do not “make up for it” with Secret Castle on day one. Rank remaining wants on the shop tier list after the island sweep.
Same-session checklist
Keep this next to the starter checklist:
- Ten airport tickets
- Eight airport chests (this page)
- One suitcase, previewed, not mashed
- Quiz complete
- Codes pasted in Settings
That is the whole terminal. Everything after is travel. The master clothing map still lives on chests — fourteen island boxes plus Plaza and village. Use this page when search sent you here for the airport eight.
If a later patch adds a ninth terminal box, it will show up in updates and we will add a line. Until then, eight is the number creator routes agree on. Tickets will not unlock friends. Chests will not unlock a shared server. They unlock the feeling that you did not leave free outfits on the floor of a three-year wait.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
How many airport chests are in Momo City?
Creator routes list eight clothing boxes in the Alpha terminal. Count them, then continue on the chests hub.
Do airport chests give Moni?
Treat them as wardrobe. The Moni spike is the airport quiz, not these boxes.
I already boarded. Can I still open them?
Yes. Return to the airport and walk the terminal again.
Why will a chest not open on mobile?
Known Alpha bug. Walk, retry, rejoin. Same prompt family as tickets. See Alpha notes.
