Momo City Daily Quests
Ribbon Mall missions that pay you to shop, talk, and walk around.
Daily quests are Momo City’s way of giving you a reason to revisit the mall instead of logging off after one lap. They are free Moni on top of the airport quiz, codes, and fishing circuit. Alpha locks quests to Ribbon Mall — the game sends you there and calls it a task. This page covers how to open the quest menu, what common tasks look like, how to pin a quest to your screen, and why finishing the list before gacha is the correct order.
The embedded travel video covers getting to Ribbon Mall if the Plaza-to-mall route is not yet muscle memory. Watch it once, then open the quest panel.
How to access quests
The quest system lives inside your phone, which lives inside your inventory. The community wiki confirms this access chain:
- Open Inventory — the bag icon on your HUD.
- Launch Phone — select the phone icon from your bag items.
- Navigate to Quests — click the Quests button to see available tasks.
- Check a task’s detail — use the arrow or tap the quest row.
Quests refresh daily. The studio has not confirmed a specific reset time, but player reports treat them as a once-per-session set tied to your login rather than a midnight rollover.
How to pin quests
Open the quest panel and look for a star icon next to a task. Tapping it pins that quest objective to the right edge of your screen so you can track it while walking around. This is not optional — Ribbon Mall is large enough that you will forget what you were doing halfway through the concourse without it.
Pinning is especially useful for:
- Treasure Hunter tasks that ask you to pick up a specific item across multiple shops.
- Lucky Number tasks that require a precise interaction rather than a location.
- Button Masher tasks where the input window is short and you cannot afford to look away.
To unpin, tap the star again. Only one quest pins at a time on the screen overlay, but the full list stays visible inside the phone panel.
Common quest types
Based on community reports from Alpha sessions, these are the task patterns you will see most often:
- Lucky Number — the game asks you to interact with a specific number or object. Watch the prompt carefully; the answer is usually in the shop name or a visible sign.
- Treasure Hunter — pick up a named item somewhere in the mall. You can combine this with browsing — if a quest asks you to find something at Pri-me, you are already there for the shopping goal.
- Button Masher — rapid input commands at a terminal or object. Tempo matters more than frantic clicking. Some players report the game counts rhythm, not raw speed.
- Shop Visit — enter a specific store. Window-shopping counts; you do not need to buy anything.
- Purchase Task — buy one item from a named shop. This is the only quest that actually costs Moni. Pair it with your actual shopping list so it is not a separate trip.
Quest-first workflow
The order matters because quests pay you Moni that you then spend in the same mall. If you gacha first and shop second, you are spending before you collect. The correct loop:
- Redeem any new codes in Settings before entering the mall.
- Open phone → Quests → pin your hardest task.
- Walk the mall completing quests. Window-shop at Pri-me, EXEQ, and the others while you are passing through.
- Finish the purchase task last so your Moni is at its highest point before spending.
- Unload shopping bags outside the mall after the Beary patch allows it.
- Optional: one fishing circuit or Maid Cafe shift if you still have energy.
Daily login heart
Beyond the quest board, there is a daily heart section accessible from the main menu arrow. Tapping it claims a daily piece — the community has not fully mapped what collecting all pieces leads to, but player consensus is that it feeds a future reward system. Log in every day to claim it. Missing a day does not erase accumulated pieces, but skipping the login entirely means losing that day’s drop.
What quests do not cover
Quests are mall-focused. They do not send you to Nota Village, the fishing docks, or Citizen Island. Those areas still require the travel workflow and your own motivation. The studio has signaled that quest scope may expand as Alpha grows; when it does, this page gets a section update and the Alpha notes get a note.
Quests also do not teach you the game. They are a Moni supplement, not a tutorial. If you boarded without doing the airport quiz, quests will not compensate for that missed spike. Treat them as the daily maintenance loop on top of a solid first-session foundation.
Second-session add-on
After your first full quest completion, the routine for subsequent sessions is:
- Check codes for new strings.
- Open Quests, pin, walk.
- Unload any previous purchases before starting the new list.
- Fishing or cafe shift if you want more Moni than quests gave you.
Quests alone will not make you rich. They are part of the same sustainable daily loop described in how to get Moni. The difference is that quests reward you for doing what you would already do while playing the mall portion of the game.
Link this page to anyone who asks why the mall feels like it has goals beyond shopping.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
Where are daily quests in Momo City?
Ribbon Mall. Open inventory → phone → Quests tab. Patches may expand quest scope beyond the mall — check Alpha notes.
Do quest progress save if I leave the server?
Yes. Community reports confirm quest progress is saved between sessions. Claim your reward before logging off to lock it in.
What happens if I miss a day of quests?
Missed quests do not stack or compensate. Daily heart pieces may accumulate separately — log in every day to collect them.
Should I complete quests before or after gacha?
Before. Quests pay Moni. Spending that Moni on gacha or shops after completing the list keeps your balance highest during the session.
