Fishing in Momo City

Fishing is the quiet Moni loop Momo Studio actually patched twice in early September 2026. The September 1 note changed sell prices so grinding feels less like a joke. The September 4 Beary patch then fixed more issues with fishing that were causing players to get stuck and shrank the mobile sell GUI. This page is the dedicated route. You do not need VIP to wet a line. You do need location and fishing markers in Settings, a district with water, and the patience to walk instead of sprint when the cast prompt appears — the same rule as chests.

Turn the markers on

Open Settings after you land (or after you return to the airport if you bounced out too fast). Enable fishing spots alongside location pins. The September 3 card also raised Uncommon and Rare spawn rates. If pins do not show, rejoin. Old servers miss patches; the Beary graphic says so in the first line.

Cast at marked water, not the Plaza fountain. Fountain photos are cute. They are not a fishery.

Official sell ranges (1 September 2026)

Studio posted these Moni bands the same day the Alpha opened for all ages. Treat them as the live table until a later graphic replaces them. The note also said price updates would follow that night, so if a fish sells outside the band, write the number down and keep fishing — do not assume the whole table died.

That spread is why fishing belongs on a Moni page at all. One Legendary catch beats a weak mall daily. A bag of Commons is still better than standing in Secret Castle broke.

Aurora’s mini-mart (Tsuki Mart in older social posts) was billed as the place to sell fish, bugs, and snacks. Confirm the live NPC before you cross the map. If she is missing in your Alpha slice, use the fishing sell GUI the Beary patch just resized for mobile.

How a session should look

1. Redeem codes first so you are not mixing gacha tickets with fish bags.
2. Toggle fishing markers.
3. Travel via how to travel — Nota Village and Citizen Island water beat indoor malls.
4. Walk to the pin. Cast. Wait. Inventory the fish.
5. Sell when the bag is ugly, not after every Common.
6. If the cast prompt sticks, rejoin. That is the documented stuck-cast fix, not a missing rod.

Swimming also got a Beary fix. If you clip under a pier, reset character (you snap to spawn) instead of installing a fly script.

What fishing is not

It is not a combat skill. It is not a second airport quiz. It is not a reason to skip Citizen Island chests. Chests are clothes. Fish are cash. Do both.

It is also not an AFK farm. Alpha still has no official auto-fish. Anyone selling a “Momo City fishing script” is guessing. Read script safety and stay on the rod.

Where it sits in the week

• Day one: airport, codes, Plaza chests, maybe one marked spot if you still have time.
• Day two: a real circuit after mall dailies.
• After Beary: if you were stuck mid-cast last week, this is the patch that told you to rejoin.

Sell Mysticals like they matter. Spend the Moni on a shop gap, not a duplicate bow. Then go talk to Nami while you are already in the mall.
