Momo City Updates
Alpha patches, the September graphic, and leftover countdown history.
Momo City did not appear overnight. It spent years as a countdown, a trailer, a Discord rumour, and a group shout. Then it boarded as Momo City [Alpha] on Roblox. This hub is the change log. Child pages split the story:
- Alpha release — live build, 3 September promocode patch, known bugs
- Beary Decora patch — 4 September closet colors, Beary bundle, fishing unstuck
- Robo Japan — countdown experience, limited items, why it is not the game

What “Alpha” means on this wiki
Alpha means systems ship in slices. Maid Cafe exists; other jobs may not. Daily quests started mall-only. Chests fail on some phones. Studio said the trailer does not show the whole game and that patches will keep landing. When we write guides, we date them to the last patch we actually saw — currently the September 4, 2026 Beary closet card, one day after the September 3 graphic that dropped promo codes.
Timeline (short)
- 2023 — Studio presence, long development, group ももスタジオ.
- 2024 — NPC vote (Nami wins), mall and character reveals.
- 2025 — Early-access dates were floated, then slipped. Model updates continue.
- 2026 spring — Robo Japan countdown up and down (moderation / policy scares).
- 2026 August — Official English/Japanese trailers. Alpha boarding message: “Momo City is now boarding.”
- 2026 September 3 — Public-for-all-ages patch card, Settings promocodes, markers, inventory fixes, Jirai Kei bundle, five codes.
- 2026 September 4 — Beary Decora hoodie/boots, hex/RGB closet, fishing unstuck, Pri-me names. Page: Beary patch.
Exact calendar days can disagree between a Fandom stub that still says July 26 2025 and the live Roblox page. Trust the live Alpha title and the official X account. This wiki follows those, not outdated fan calendars.
How to use patch days
- Read the graphic on @DreamMomoCity.
- Redeem new codes.
- Skim whether travel, chests, or VIP ranks changed.
- Only then spend Moni on a new bundle.
If a patch removes default teeth or lets you unload bags outside the mall, that is a customization update, not flavour text. We fold those into guides the same week when we can.
What we will not do
We will not pretend a leaked system is live. We will not keep Robo Japan codes on the active list. We will not call Alpha a full 1.0. For storefront stats (visits, favorites) look at the Roblox page linked from official links.
