Momo City All Chest Locations

Chests are the free fashion layer of Momo City. Shops exist to tempt you; chests exist so a patient player looks expensive without emptying Moni. Alpha currently spreads boxes across the airport (8), Plaza (3), Nota Village (3), and Citizen Island (14). That is twenty-eight named pickups before you touch Gamazon. This page is the master list. Mobile players report chests that refuse to open. Walk, rejoin, and retry. Official comments already called this out. It is not always a “you missed a key” problem.

Airport (8)

Clear these during onboarding. Dedicated walkthrough: airport chests. They sit beside the ticket sweep and the airport quiz. If you already boarded, try returning; if you cannot, you lost eight free pieces. Do not “make up for it” by buying Secret Castle on day one.

Plaza (3)

Three clothing chests around the fountain district. A five-minute creator route exists, plus a later clip for a Plaza oversized regal jacket chest. Do a full circle: behind easels, near columns, off the main photo spot, then the jacket pin if that box still exists in your build. Plaza is also where a lot of NPC meet-cutes happen, so you can combine this sweep with the NPC directory. The Beary patch lengthened Plaza zoom, which makes high chests easier to see.

Nota Village (3)

Three more clothing chests. Dedicated walkthrough: Nota Village chests. Village boxes hide in quieter geometry — porches, side alleys, near Fuwachi flavour. Pair with fishing markers if you are already in this area for Moni.

Citizen Island (14)

Fourteen chests. This is the farm. Open the embed, pause, and tick our chest checklist. Island buses glitched in Alpha; if you cannot ride, walk the coast. A later tropical island video also hid a female-outfit code in the footage — that is separate from chests. Chests are world objects; the code is a visual hunt.

Suggested island method:

1. Land, do not shop.
2. Follow the video order so you do not spiral the same cove three times.
3. Equip new pieces only after the sweep so you notice duplicates.
4. Screenshot anything with a unique silhouette for the shop tier comparison.

What chests give you

Public videos consistently show clothing items, not jackpot Moni. Treat chests as wardrobe, not an economy. Economy is quiz + codes + dailies + cafe. If a chest is empty, you already looted it on this account, or the prompt failed — rejoin before you assume it was decorative.

After the sweep

Unload and sort in customization. Then visit Ribbon Mall with a gap list: “I still need shoes, I do not need another bow.” Secret Castle and the Jirai Kei phone bundle are for holes chests cannot fill. Pri-me is for gyaru that island boxes probably will not duplicate.

If a future patch adds more districts, we will extend the checklist rather than bury locations in comments. For now, if you only do one exploration task this week, do Citizen Island. It is the highest clothing-per-minute activity in the Alpha that does not ask you to spin gacha.
