The Maid Cafe is the job Momo Studio advertised for years: music video, mall posters, and a full interior where you can actually work. In Alpha it is both a district on the travel list and a shift you clock for Moni. This page is the practical version. The embed is the official cafe music video — flavour for the vibe, not a hidden code hunt (those live on codes).

If you came here from a trailer, expect Alpha scope. Not every dance, menu, or NPC interaction from the MV is a button yet. What is live is still worth a first-hour visit because it answers “what do I do after chests.”

How to get there

Follow the same hops as Nota Village and Ribbon Mall. Enable location markers in Settings. The cafe is not inside Secret Castle. If you spawn in the Plaza, finish the three Plaza chests, then bus or path to the cafe so you arrive with a little style already on.

Wear something you do not mind swapping. Shifts expect maid sets; the game will either give a uniform or expect you to equip one from inventory. Check bags first using customization so you are not clocking in with an empty clothing tab.

What a shift looks like

Public footage and job copy point to a service loop: take orders, carry trays, stay in the cafe volume, collect Moni. Treat it like a timed errand rather than an AFK farm. Tips:

• Walk near counters. Sprinting skips prompts the same way it skips chests.
• Finish the posted tasks instead of wandering onto the stage unless the shift asks for a performance.
• Clock out. Standing in the lobby in a maid dress is not a paycheck.
• Dump Moni into the daily loop plan, not into the first EXEQ boots you see on the way home.

Pay will not rival a lucky code. It is reliable. Pair one shift with mall dailies and you have a session.

Outfits and photos

Studio shots show cat-ear maid dresses, light-stick poses, and a male waiter variant with a tray of character drinks. If you want that look without the job, wait for mall pieces or chests. If you want it because of the job, do the shift first so you know which parts are uniform versus cosmetic flex.

Photobooth lives in Ribbon Mall, not necessarily on the cafe stage. Take pictures after you unload bags. Official Instagram energy is the point of the sim — just do not skip Citizen Island chests because you were posing.

NPCs and friendship

Cafe staff and regulars will overlap with the NPC directory. Friendship is a long-tail system: bios mention birthday invites at high friendship. A single shift will not max anyone. Talk, do the job, come back. Princess Momo and mall idols are not automatically cafe bosses; read each bio so you do not mix up Nami (Pri-me) with cafe management.

When the cafe is the wrong play

Skip a long shift if you have not:

• Redeemed codes
• Taken the airport quiz
• Cleared Plaza chests

Those are larger spikes. The cafe is the lifestyle loop that makes Alpha feel like a life sim instead of a chest simulator. Use it when you are ready to live here, not when you are still wearing the airport default.

Future jobs will get their own pages when Alpha actually ships them. Until then, if a marker says “work” somewhere else, try it, but keep this cafe page as the one with footage, music, and a stable district identity.
