The gacha in Momo City lives inside Secret Castle on the Purple floor of Ribbon Mall. It is not a combat wheel — it is the wardrobe surprise mechanic that keeps the dress-up loop feeling alive between chest runs and shop visits. Ticket and coin sources
Tickets are the primary pull currency. The community wiki confirms these sources:
- Fishing — every caught fish has a chance to drop gacha tickets as a bonus reward. Mystical-tier catches have a higher ticket yield.
- Promo codes —
10GACHATICKETSwas the confirmed September drop. Studio posts new codes on X (@DreamMomoCity) and in patch graphics. - Daily login — logging in each day earns a streak bonus that occasionally includes gacha tickets. Miss a day and the streak resets.
- Heart Gems exchanged to Princess Momo — a secondary conversion path that feeds tickets into the pull pool. Heart Gems come from NPC friendship, daily quests, and mall purchases.
Some regions show Gacha Coins instead of tickets. This is a regional compliance issue — some countries restrict random-pull mechanics. If your mall UI shows coins instead of tickets, that is the path your build uses. Coins and tickets are not interchangeable; the UI tells you which you have.
Pull rates and rarity
Studio has not published official rate cards. Public gameplay footage shows a spread from Common clothing pieces up through Epic and Legendary accessories. The fishing sell table uses these bands:

Event banners
Patch graphics occasionally announce event gacha banners — timed pulls with exclusive items not available in the standard pool. The updates hub is where these get called out. The general rule: save a few tickets for a banner you actually want instead of burning your whole stack on a quiet Tuesday. Event exclusives do not appear in standard Secret Castle after the banner closes.
When to pull and when to wait
Spin when:
- You have a full ticket stack from fishing + codes and no immediate shop goal.
- An event banner is live that matches your style.
- You have already cleared every chest on Citizen Island and ranked your shop tier gaps.
Wait when:
- You are saving for a specific banner announced in a patch graphic.
- You just spent on a Pri-me or EXEQ goal and your Moni is thin.
- You are one pull away from a daily quest trigger — some dailies require opening a gacha item.
Pull hygiene
- Unload shopping bags in the mall or outside after the September patch.
- Open inventory and confirm what you own before you pull.
- Pull in sets of 10 if the UI supports it — some banners give a bonus on a full set.
- Screenshot your results so you know what came from gacha versus what came from a chest.
- If a pull crashes the UI, rejoin. Your items are in inventory; only the animation failed.
Gacha versus chest farming
Chests give one-time clothing unlocks tied to locations you have visited. Gacha gives random draws from a rotating pool. The strategy: chest the free silhouette basics, then use gacha for the rare piece that makes a look feel complete. Do not replace chest runs with gacha — they serve different wardrobe purposes.
For Secret Castle specifically, check both the in-store pull and the phone app. Some Jirai Kei bundle items are phone-only purchases, not gacha pulls.
