Momo City Alpha Release Notes

Momo City [Alpha] is the live Roblox experience (place 131856811555630, universe 7084172542). Studio posted boarding copy at the end of August 2026: expect bugs, the trailer is incomplete, patches will continue. This page is the player-facing digest so you do not have to reconstruct a patch graphic from memory.

Genre on Roblox: Roleplay & Avatar Sim / Life. Max players 1. Visits passed 300k with 8k+ favorites during the first week of public Alpha tracking. Those numbers move; the solo-server fact matters more.

September 3, 2026 patch (from the official card)

The graphic titled the build public for all ages and listed:

• Settings menu for promocodes, graphics, and volume
• Toggleable guide markers for locations, fishing spots, and friends
• Higher Uncommon and Rare fish spawn rates
• Messenger themes and stickers fixes
• Hair gender indicator before purchase
• Character reset teleports to spawn
• Faster inventory open/close and bag fixes
• Citizen Island bus fixes
• Fang and Siren teeth removed from default avatar
• Avatar save fix
• Shopping bags can be unloaded outside Ribbon Mall
• Jirai Kei bundle in Secret Castle phone app
• Promo codes (see codes)

If you only remember one patch in Alpha, remember this one. It is why our redeem and customization pages tell you to open Settings instead of hunting a hidden kiosk.

September 4, 2026 — Beary Decora

The next morning @DreamMomoCity posted a second graphic: Patch out!!! New Beary cute bundle! That card is not a reprint of the promocode list. It is closet hex/RGB, saved colors, controller/console cursor, braces re-equip, Pri-me names, fishing unstuck, mobile sell GUI, swimming, Plaza zoom, and the Beary hoodie/boots in the Secret Castle app. Line one still says rejoin old servers. Known pain (not all fixed)

• Mobile chests that do not open (player comments on the official trailer)
• Inventory hitching (partially addressed)
• Buses (partially addressed)
• Missing systems versus trailers (housing depth, extra jobs, some NPCs)

When a chest fails, rejoin. When a bus fails, reset character. When a promised job is missing, it is not in your build yet — check this page again after the next graphic.

What to play in Alpha

Follow getting started. Do not wait for 1.0 to loot chests or work a cafe shift. Alpha is the game right now. VIP still costs Robux; spend only after you like the loop (VIP tiers).

What Alpha is not

It is not Robo Japan. It is not a shared-server hangout. It is not a finished housing tycoon. It is not “too dangerous to play” just because comments under the trailer panicked about Roblox. It is a small-studio life sim that finally boarded. Play it like an Early Access Sims/Animal Crossing hybrid, because that is the sentence the Roblox description uses.

For countdown history and limited merch that will not return, use Robo Japan. For live socials, use official links.

How we will date the next patch

When @DreamMomoCity posts another graphic, we will add a dated section here rather than rewrite history. Codes go to the codes hub the same day if the graphic includes them. Travel or inventory changes go into guides once we can phrase them without guessing. If the graphic only says “bug fixes,” this page will say that and nothing more.

Do not treat Fandom’s old July 26 2025 header as a patch. Do not treat a YouTuber’s “release is coming” from 2025 as a patch. The live Roblox title and the latest studio card are the only two clocks that matter. Everything else is a waiting-room story. If a friend still quotes July 2025, send them the live Roblox title and this page. Alpha is the product you can play now, with bugs, solo servers, and a mall that actually sells clothes. That is enough of a sentence to start getting started.
